That is one of the greatest features Green Pastures has to offer. We understand every customer is different and we have programs that can be personally customized to fit your specific needs. Below you will find the 6 step process that is typically completed for the best results.
April — Granular fertilizer with Dimension pre-emergent crabgrass control.
May — Granular slow release fertilizer. Spot treat as necessary for broadleaf weeds.
June — Granular slow release fertilizer and Merit grub control. Spot treat as necessary for broadleaf weeds.
August — Granular slow release fertilizer. Spot treat as necessary for broadleaf weeds.
September — Granular slow release fertilizer. Spot treat as necessary for broadleaf weeds.
October — Granular slow release late fall fertilizer.
Core Aeration
Many people find that core aeration greatly improves the health of their lawn. We find that fall is the best time to do that. The process of aeration removes 2-4 inch plugs out of the ground, leaving little holes in it for water, grass seed, and fertilizer to enter. Aeration allows your soil to breathe and allows the grass roots to receive enough water and fertilizer to successfully grow.
Grass Seeding
